Coldbox

A standard Coldbox panel consists, just like a standard Minibox panel, of two smooth, lacquered white (RAL 9010) and galvanized steel sheets between which we inject polyurethane (PUR) during the production process. The steel sheets are finished with a CleanSafe 25µm coating. Coldbox panels are only available with a thickness of 80 mm and a height of 2100 or 2400 mm. 

Furthermore, a Coldbox package consists of a standard hinged coldroom door, 700 mm wide. The door has the standard isomasters hinges, door handle and emergency opener. Just like the Coldbox panels, the hinged door is made of white lacquered galvanised steel sheets. When the Coldbox is used for storage below 0°C, you will find a heating cable around the door's edges by default. 

Furthermore, we provide practical racks to set up the interior of your coldstore or freezer. These racks are solid, aluminium racks that fully comply with hygienic and food safety standards. Furthermore, they can be set up independently, are adjustable in height and available in U or L-shape. In addition to racks, you also receive a cooling unit with your Coldbox. We selected a range of units that fit perfectly to our Coldbox and excel in ease of installation. Moreover, you can immediately connect these to a 230V/50Hz network. Moreover, our range offers units for positive and negative temperatures. 

Finally, you should indicate whether or not you wish to add floor panels to your Coldbox. If you wish to use the cold store for storing goods below 5°C, we always recommend an insulated floor. For this type of Coldbox we also supply PVC floor ventilation profiles to be placed under the floor panels to ensure an optimal air flow around the coldroom. You will also find an overpressure valve in the package when a Coldbox will be used as frozen storage space.
