The floor insulation consists of 2 layers of insulated panels of 100 mm thickness (XPS 3035), installed with rabbet and staggered joints on top of a reflective vapour barrier, ensuring complete vapour density underneath the floor insulation.
Five big sliding cold room doors of 2,3 m width and 4,5 m height were installed to achieve an optimal circulation inside the refrigerated areas. The doors (type ZNE) with PVC door frames open and close very smoothly thanks to the stainless steel tubular rail and automation through a electromechanical engine and electronically adjustable control.
Several areas inside the construction were equipped with isothermal hinged cold room doors (type OFE – ODE) of 100 mm thickness and double rubber seal. Some of these doors serve as emergency exits and are as such fitted with an anti-panic opener. The white PVC windows (type KRE) with double glazing ensure transparency and light in the dispatch areas.
Together with the 6300 m² IND panels and a considered selection of isothermal doors of the isomasters ISODOORS range, the build up of the new industrial freezers is an example for fine engineering and perfect execution.
