Detremmerie Butchers has become a household name in the sector of locally produced and sold artisanal delicacies. In 2016, Detremmerie invested in a brand-new production site, built with a focus on optimizing the production flow and following the latest standards for food safety and hygiene. The IND panels and isothermal doors provided by isomasters (previously Isocab-Isobar) offered the best solutions for a new, modern and functional site.

The wall and ceiling panels, type IND, have an insulated core in Polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) which guarantees excellent fire reaction (B-s1, d0) following EN 13501-1. The tongue and groove connections between the panels ensure an outstanding thermal performance and damp free, hygienic and fire resistant joint closures. All panels are flat and finished with a CLEANsafe 55 coating in RAL 9010. Flat panels are mainly used in the pharmaceutical sector and for cleanrooms, and offer, as such, a great advantage for food businesses with regards to hygiene and intensive cleaning.

A distinctive feature of the new production area is that screws and fixations are nowhere to be seen: all inside corners are rounded and invisibly fixated, just like the outside corners which were glued to the panels. In total, 2,590 m² panels were put into place at the production site.

The isomasters door range guarantees user-friendliness. Whether it’s a hinged door for refrigerated room (type OFE) or a sliding door for refrigerated room (type EPE), the isomasters door for refrigerated room range guarantees perfect insulation through 100 mm thick door leafs. The industrial sliding doors for deep freezer (type INE) were executed with a door leaf of 140 mm thickness. These door leafs are made of a uniform panel without additional border frame, which enhances hygiene with regards to use and maintenance. In line with the colour palette of the client’s logo, all doors got a special look: a vivid red, RAL 3000, which is included in the isomasters range as standard. The door frames were executed in thermally separated aluminium and a durable lacquer finish in RAL 9010. The sliding door rails consist of anodized aluminium and are provided with synthetic roller bearings, hidden behind a hygienic cover. This way, the door leafs open and close very quietly and smoothly. The sliding door for refrigerated room (type EPE) can be automated as well, with an engine completely hidden in the rail. In total, isomasters produced 45 isothermal doors from its ISODOORS range for the Detremmerie production site.
